A New Muse

I recently discovered an artist whose work captured me. I've always liked art, but never so much so that I had a favorite artist, or even paid attention to anything. I would say my knowledge of art begins and ends at my memories of watching Bob Ross on TV as a child.

This has now changed.

I can now say that I DO have a favorite artist, and her name is Megan Duncanson. :o) Now, of course, I must say she has a fabulous name, but an even more fabulous talent. For days I've been daydreaming about redecorating my office just so I can display some of her work. The first chance I'm able to buy one of my favorite pieces the demolition and reconstruction on my new writing space will begin!

I've pasted some of Megan Duncanson's work below, these are just some of my favorites. If you want to check out her website it's http://madartgallery.net/ or http://www.madartdesigns.com/. She's also got a blog! http://meganduncanson.blogspot.com/ What's really cool is not only can you purchase canvases, but you can also get custom linens, clocks, jewelry boxes, throw pillows, etc., all with your favorite design! How cool is that?

Chaos Synopsis

The excitement is mounting! I couldn't wait any longer to reveal the synopsis for Chaos, book 2 in my Agents of Evil series. It will be published next month, but I plan to continue with my sneak peeks until then.

Is any shot at living, worth dying for?
They thought they’d be safe, but a world ruled by chaos doesn’t die easily.

When Max turned on the radio transmissions assuring safety, they came. But, it wasn’t just survivors of the demon apocalypse that crawled their way into the abandoned military base. A myriad of beastly demons unlike any they’ve ever seen, came as well. Abby, and her companions, struggle to survive as the evil around them grows. Desperate to endure, and to defend their fellow survivors, Abby and a squad of fierce survivors, take on a dangerous mission that has deadly consequences.

Chaos Soundtrack

I don't know about everyone else, but I am really excited about the upcoming release of Chaos, Agents of Evil, Book 2. It has turned out to be the longest book I've ever written, and maybe even the best so far, but definitely the most difficult too.

I wanted to make a playlist of the songs I listened to while writing, but sadly not all of them were available at Playlist.com. BUT, I did want to share the song I would consider the theme song for the book. It's a song unlike any I've ever listened to, but it's creepy, and eerie, and everything the story of Chaos is. Listen to in the dark, when you're all alone, or even when you're reading Chaos too. Mwhahahahahaha!

Here's a playlist of some of the songs I could find that I liked to listen to while writing. It definitely got me in the zone to write this book, so if you want to get in that same zone I recommend you give one of the songs a listen. Maybe you might even recognize some of them too ;o)

Get a playlist! Standalone player Get Ringtones

I hope you all stay tuned for more Chaos sneak peaks! I plan to release some character photos, reveal the synopsis and even give a taste of the first chapter!!

Capture Blog Hop & Giveaway

Happy Tuesday! I'm so excited to be a part of the Capture Blog Hop!

Shay Tafford is a Cryptid: an interesting mix of animal and human with a bit of power thrown in the mix. This–combined with her ability to speak with ghosts–makes her life a little more interesting than most. However, when Malsumis, a dark being, tries to take her and her extraordinary powers out of the picture, Shay has to team up with her fellow-Cryptid boyfriend Hugh and other members of her race to thwart him. When Shay’s long-lost father show’s up, Shay realizes there’s more to the story than she originally thought.
